There is a small child here that thought she was going to be adopted. There was another child chosen and this child was heart broken. I want to go over and do their devotion one morning and let her know that God has already adopted her. So much more than any human hand could have ever done. God loved us before we were born. Please pray for this little person. They are heart broken and need to feel God's love wrapped around them.
FOR HE CHOSE US IN HIM BEFORE THE CREATION OF THE WORLD TO BE HOLY AND BLAMELESS IN HIS SIGHT. IN LOVE HE PREDESTINED US TO BE ADOPTED AS HIS SONS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, IN ACCORDANCE WITH HIS PLEASURE AND WILL-TO THE PRAISE OF HIS GLORIOUS GRACE, WHICH HE HAS FREELY GIVEN US IN THE ONE HE LOVES.
EPHESIANS 1:4-6
AND YOU ALSO WERE INCLUDED IN CHRIST WHEN YOU HEARD THE WORD OF TRUTH, THE GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION. HAVING BELIEVED, YOU WERE MARKED IN HIM WITH A SEAL, THE PROMISED HOLY SPIRIT, WHO IS A DEPOSIT GUARANTEEING OUR INHERITANCE UNTIL THE REDEMPTION OF THOSE WHO ARE GOD'S POSSESSION-TO THE PRAISE OF HIS GLORY.
EPHESIANS 1:13-14
It's so great to know that God OWNS me. He has marked me as HIS. He chose me before I chose him. He loved me when I didn't even know him. He kept me safe when I ran with the devil. He knew I was coming to him. He waited patiently. And when I begged for him to live in my heart he cradled me in his arms and said I was his. Already marked, already forgiven....a child predestined according to God!
That just breaks my heart. That poor little girl and how she must have felt. I hope she can understand that one day some loving family will take her and love her like she needs to be.
